In the system of Lithuanian Law the Court and its jurisprudence occupies a special place. In the diploma paper the Constitutional jurisprudence is analyzed in connection with the law of criminal process. The conception of the jurisprudence of the Constitutional Court is disclosed and its influence on criminal process is analyzed. The main elements of the Constitutional Court jurisprudence are constitutional principles. The Constitutional Court by explaining constitutional principles can directly influence the criminal process and the whole system of jurisprudence. The paper reviews the decisions of Constitutional Court where the issue of correspondence of criminal process norms to the Constitution of the Republic of Lithuania is considered. |
