Abstract [eng] The very core of the common or internal market was and it is guarantee of the four fundamental freedoms. The freedom to provide services is one of the fundamental freedoms. The central principles governing the internal market for services are set out in the EC Treaty. This guarantees to the EU companies the freedom to estblishe and freedom to provides services on the teritory of another Member state other than the one in which they are established. The principles of free movement of services have been clarified and developed over years through the case law of the European Court of Justice. However, despite progress in some specific service sectors, the overall internal market for services is not working as well as it should be. The aim of this Paper is to disclose the legal content of the EU provision by examining the recent case law of the European Court of Justice on free movement of services and analysing interpretation of the EU Treaty provisions the freedom to provide services in it‘s early judgements. Provision of services within EU is very dinamyc and fast developing economic activity, that is a reason for developing the European Court of justice case law on free movemet of services. Many legal, administrative and practical obstacles were identified in recent case law of European Court of Justice.
