Abstract [eng] The paper deals with Enterprise knowledge modelling problem. The aim of the research, presented in the article, is to develop a formal Enterprise knowledge model for an Enterprise knowledge base. The Enterprise knowledge base is intended to be used for the decision support when solving a range of business problems: transformation of Enterprise into knowledge-based Enterprise; business and IT alignment; computerisation of business management functions. On the basis of analysis of Knowledge management theory and Enterprise modelling methods the Enterprise knowledge space is designed. The Porter’s value chain model is selected as a basis for the practical Enterprise knowledge modelling method. The Modified value chain model is derived from original Porter’s value chain model by identifying knowledge management function along with other management functions of the Enterprise. The formal structure of the Enterprise knowledge model is described and represented in the UML class diagram. On the basis of the findings of the research the enterprise knowledge modelling method will be developed and implemented in the computerised modelling tool. The value chain alignment models is assumed the basis for developing such enterprise model. For the identification of information resources the hierachical enterprise model is developed and presented. This enterprise model includes two types of functions - the main and special, and hierarchical levels of function/process interactions. Function/process interactions are associated with a set of types of information resources. The taxonomy of information resources, attributes of information item and the class model of the enterprise repository are presented. The basic concepts for function/process interaction modelling are discussed.
