This master’s final paper focuses on human resource management process steps. In accordance with various Lithuanian and foreign authors there are reviewed and analyzed the human resource management theoretical aspects. Secondly, there are discussed the main features and functions of the statutory civil service and the public servant. Furthermore, there is given the detailed analysis of the State Fire and Rescue Service System and there are analyzed regulations of the Republic of Lithuania affecting human resources management in fire protection and rescue services. Finally, there is confirmed the hypothesis that the most important factors affecting job satisfaction and motivation are larger social and other statutory public servants guarantees. In order to reach the main aim of the paper there were used the following methods: analysis of literature and statute in the field of the State Fire and Rescue Service System, interview and survey. According to a survey conducted by the author there is offered specific recommendations to resolve the existing problems. |
