Master‘s thesis deals with the improvement of non-formal education management at the point of the access service in educational institutions in Mažeikiai District Municipality. In the thesis non-formal education management in the context of the framework of education policy is analyzed theoretically and by the legal basis of the documents, focusing on analysis of the aspect of service access. Theoretical analysis has confirmed the fact that both formal and non-formal education institutions have to seek effective education management, to develop constantly and to expand the availability of the education services in order to reach development of completely educated personality. The aim of Master‘s thesis is to investigate the situation of non-formal education management at the point of service access in Mažeikiai District, identifying the existing problems and defining the possible areas of the improvement. The analysis of the data has revealed the major issues of non-formal education management at the point of accessibility and the analysis of the results has allowed identifying the directions of possible improvement. The study has shown that there is lack of proper non-formal education management and accessibility of methodology of research as well as the methodology that allows identifying the competence of the non-formal education providers, and there is lack of reliable information about the current non-formal education activities. |
