The aim of the Master’s final paper thesis is to analyse the influence of corruption on macroeconomic indicators in Lithuania. In the theoretical part is analysed various foreign authors' interpretation of the concept of corruption and identifies theoretical aspects of the impact of corruption to the main macroeconomic indicators. In the practical part of the work used regression anglysis and identified the strength of the relationship between corruption perception index and the main macroeconomic indicators. The study found that the level of corruption has a negative impact on the main macroeconomic indicators. The study found that corruption has a negative impact in economic growth. If the other variables effect estimates, the influence of corruption for analysed indicators decrease, but remained statistically significant. |
