Abstract [eng] The work is of theoretical analysis of literature sources about family structure, types of relations, influence of family relationships for the child’s social development and the influence of emphatic bond for the interrelations and pro-social behaviour. A hypothesis has been raised, that development of the emphatic bond between parents and children by using the method of parent groups changes the family interrelations and children experiences that are reflected in drawings of the children. 62 pupils of primary school have participated in the research. The projection of H-T-P drawing method was used and non-harmonious families have been chosen, in which marks of psychological traumas were revealed for 7-11 year old 12 researched children. The family interrelations of the same 12 children were researched by using Family drawing method. For the parents of these children (10families) according to worked out Parents’ groups program there were 10 sessions guided. After these Parents’ group’s sessions, the same researched children draw paintings and the comparison is done if there are some changes in the family, or if the emphatic bond between parents and children got stronger. Basic conclusions: 1. The analysis of literature sources revealed that there were researches where authors researched family structure, types of the relations, influence of family relations for the child’s social development but according to the analysis of the content of the accessible literature sources it can be stated that there were not got deeper into the possibilities to develop the emphatic bond between parents and children. 2. The emphatic bond between a child and parents changed and became stronger in those families, where parents visited and were active in all Parents’ group’s sessions. This change is evident in changes of details in drawings of the house, tree, man and Family drawing. 3. There were families (Lina’s family, Lilija’s family), which emphatic bond between parents and children remained unchanged. The main reasons of not-happened change are the following: • Members of the family (Lina’s mother) visited the Parent’s group’s sessions not regularly; • Lilija’s family has experienced a painful loss – girl’s mother died; 4. There were families, in which the emphatic bond between parents and children has changed narrowly. The reason of such a narrow change is non-active participation of parents in Parent’s group’s sessions. 5. It can be stated, that the hypothesis raised: the development of the emphatic bond between parents and children by using Parent’s group’s method changes family interrelations and the experiences of the children, which are revealed in their drawings – confirmed, and the teachers of the basic and secondary schools can successfully use the method of Parent’s group’s working with non-harmonious families of primary forms.
