This work is intended to present solutions to the problems regarding e-payment infrastructure in Lithuania. This work affirms that e-payment systems are the phenomenon of the XXI century in the field of e-banking and that these systems are the question of interest that has been researched and analyzed for a long time by economists and information scientists abroad. Meanwhile, the condition of e-payment systems in Lithuania has not been discussed enough. E-payment systems present challenges such as lack of trust by clients, e-payment security problems and information distribution lack. This work presents solutions to the current problems, evaluates the present situation and future prospects of e-commerce in banks of Lithuania. |
