Abstract [eng] According to L. Sajienė and A. Antanaitienė (2012), professional self-determination - the most important adolescence and youth development tasks, giving rise to all the rest of human life. After the analysis of the research results, it can be said that young school students in vocational decision factors are not considered. Also, studies rarely analyzed 9th and 10th-grader students professional self-determination factors. The object - Professional determination factors of youth school 9th and 10th-grader students. The aim – reveal professional determination factors of youth school 9th and 10th-grader students. Research tasks: 1. The concept of professional self-determination. 2. Describe the professional determination of internal and external factors. 3. Discuss the specificity of the youth school, they pupils traits. 4. To analyze the internal factors that determines the most youth school 9th and 10th-grader students professional self-determination. 5. Investigate youth school 9th and 10th-grader students professional self-determination of external factors. The survey was conducted in 2016 in november. The study involved 107 young people from schools, learning 9-10 classes (45 girls and 62 boys). The survey was carried out of 4 young people in schools. Questionnaires were anonymous, consisting of 20 questions. Findings: 1. Career choice is a variable and dynamic personality identification process that occurs throughout life, associated with its local life and work in the world. 2. Professional self-determination of internal factors include personal abilities, age, intelligence, physical health, vocation, character, etc., and external - the family, educational institutions, friends, financial opportunities, future prospects, wages, the media, etc. 3. Youth schools provide more social, psychological and educational assistance to students and their parents than in other general education institutions. These schools enrolled students have learning gaps, conduct disorder, do not fit the general education school come from socially vulnerable families. 4. About half of the respondents in choosing a profession, there are important skills, hobbies, character, health status and the favorite profession. 5. When choosing a profession, academic is important parents opinion, job opportunities, occupations in demand and competitive wages.
