Abstract [eng] The final work focuses on the use of the noun price. The research object is usual and unexpected compounds with this noun in the modern Lithuanian mass media and commercial or advertisement. The sentences of the public style are chosen from “The Modern Lithuanian Languages Contexts”. The texts of the commercials or advertisements are selected from the Lithuanian modern advertising. Research object contains of 200 different phrases and contexts with the word price collected from the advertisements and 400 sentences’ examples collected from publicity.
