This master thesis describes theoretical analysis of both: psychosocial characteristics of schoolchildren and the help of educators to school childrens who have stuttering disorders. The aim of the research is to determine the main methods used by educators in the educational process in order to help schoolchildren with stuttering disorders. Methods of the investigation applied in the work are as follows: a survey and interview. Data statistical analysis provides relative frequency, average, test of x². The scope of the analysis is based on 147 educators from secondary schools in which the each form has one or two schoolchildren with stuttering disorder. The empirical part of the work deals with educator‘s knowledge about stutter and the possibilities to overcome it, the methods which are implied by educators in the educational process, the peculiarities achieved in cooperation with parents and speech therapeutists in order to seek the main goal.
