The Employees Right to Safety Work Summary Accidents at work is a problem that has been analyzed by lawyers, technologists and psychologists. Despite the fact, the problem in Lithuania is critical for the accidents at work persist to happen in big numbers. It is often assumed that the problem may be solved using the trade union agitation methods. Not disregarding them, it is necessary to analyze this painful experience, predict their likelihood in future and get ready for this technologically, economically and socially. After the restoration of the independence and after the management forms as well as technologies had completely changed the prognosis would be effective if the accident causes under the conditions of free market are taken into consideration and after the command system is refused. No country can allocate assignations that would ensure a complete safety of the employees. It is necessary to rationally use the financial resources and predict as well as optimize the precautionary means so that financial investments would bring a potentially bigger preventive effect. |
