The Master’s Degree Work analyses Lithuanian youth integration into the state labour market; the current situation is reviewed as well as development tendencies in 2005-2009. The Work has been prepared to identify the main reasons, which affect the state of youth within the labour market. The Master’s Degree Work analyses the state of youth in the labour market; tendencies of changes in unemployment as well as main reasons, influencing the youth integration into the state labour market are defined. Empirical methods of social research (analysis, comparison, generalisation) have been applied in the Work in order to analyse reasons of youth unemployment, their development. Aim of the Master’s Degree Work is to analyse the youth integration into the state labour market as well as current situation and development tendencies. In order to assess the state of youth in the labour market, the questionnaire was filled in by young unemployed people. The Hypothesis, formed by the author was confirmed, that the complicated integration of young people into the labour market is affected by the current economical situation; though Lithuanian educational institutions, which prepare specialists, should be oriented towards needs of the labour market. |
