The conception of public administration and education as subject of public administration, strategic management of sustainable development of institutions of education are analyzed and the conception of school community and its main factors are determined in this final work. The results of the research of activities of school communities in the context of sustainable development are presented in this final work too. The main source of the empiric research was members of base, secondary schools and gymnasiums in Mazeikiai district.The situation of activities of school communities of Mazeikiai in the context of sustainable development is analyzed in the final work. The analysis was done using such methods as interview and questionnaire.The purpose of the final work is to find out the attitude of members of school community to sustainable development and the influence of community implementing education of sustainable development. It was tried to find out what difficulties school communities face with and what factors could help to improve activity of school community.The main difficulties school communities of Mazeikiai district face with were found such as the lack of competence,violence among students and too little of the cooperation with members of school communities and social partners. Those difficulties disturb to implement education of sustainable development. |
