In final Master’s work conception of organization and functions of organization management are analyzed. On purpose to ascertain performance of functions of sport management in organizations of Mazeikiai district municipality, analysis of Lithuanian and foreign author’s scientific publications, published results of researches, sport regulating legal acts in Lithuania and international documents, strategic plans, reports, internet materials and empirical qualitative document’s investigation were performed. Purpose of work – to analyze sport management problems in local municipalities. Document’s investigation showed that one of independent functions of municipality is local sport management, organization of resident’s rest therefore sport organization and management in local municipalities is performed considering traditions, experience, human and financial resources. Given this situation, local municipalities not always can properly manage this function and implement provided programmes by upper institutions of the country. |
