The aim of the Master’s thesis is to analyze the formation of organizational culture in accommodation companies of Šiauliai town using K.S Cameron and R.E Quinn’s competing values framework (Organizational Culture Assessment Instrument). Thesis consists of theoretical and practical parts. It analyzes sources of foreign and Lithuanian authors that reveal factors, functions, types and models of organizational culture, etiquette, role of the manager, efficiency of activities in the formation of organizational culture. The research part introduces data received from managers and employees working in accommodation companies of Šiauliai town regarding the dominating types of organizational culture and compares overall 2010-2011 data of manager research. Based on the received results from managers it can be suggested that dominating types of organizational culture may change in the future. Conclusions and recommendations are proposed in the end of the thesis. |
