The paper analyzes the importance of European Convention on Human Rights and Freedoms for the Republic of Lithuania’s criminal policies and the analysis of the general human rights and freedoms is presented, as well as the reflection of the freedoms in the criminal procedure legislation of the Republic of Lithuania. Much attention is paid to the realization of the human rights and freedoms assessing under the criminal law context. In addition, matters such as the realization of these important rights and freedoms in the criminal politics. Also the jurisprudence analysis of the European Court of Human is represented, analyzing the individual cases that have been brought against Lithuania exactly due to the violation of human rights and freedoms in the criminal law. |
