The aim of this Master's work is to estimate the selection of human resources in public sector institutions of Tauragė district and to foresee the possible improvements to this process. To achieve the goal, the theorethical aspects of human resources in public sector were analised, the selection of human resources in public sector of Lithuania and other EU countries were analised, the possible improvements of the selection of human resources in Lithuania were systemised, practical aspects of human resources in the public sector institutions of Tauragė district were analised using different research methods, the recomendations how to improve the selection of human resources in public sector institutions of Lithuania were presented. After carrying out the research, the hypothesis, that the strict and well detailed legal regulation of the selection of human resources in public sector of Lithuania does not guarantee that this process will be organised and implemented transparently, was confirmed. |
