There is an investigation of user experience (UX) with regard to create the heuristic evalu-ation method for web based applications in this paper. Literature related to usability, user‘s and product‘s interaction, UX models, metrics and characteristics is looked over. Study of literature showed that there is no unified heuristic evaluation method for web aplications‘ user experience. The UX heuristic euvaluation‘s questionnaire and recommendations how to use it were created. These assets should be used by user experience experts who are involved in software develop-ment process. The method reveals benefits and defects of the application. Furthemore, it empowers the UX expert to group UX aspects and prioritize defects by a type of pleasaure. The method was tested with browsers‘ plugin "Wikiwand" which was nominated for user experience. As a result, there were much more benefits rather than defects. Also, the method was tested with website "Aš už Lietuvą". It has led to finding defects and consideration of improvements which enhance user experience and application‘s overall quality within. |
