Abstract [eng]  A statistic (Pearson's linear correlation) data analysis, answers to open questions and interviews with experts of content (content) analysis, presentation of research findings was provided. The study included 150 professionals who provide social skills training and support services, social risk families, and local neighborhoods of 27 regions of the Republic of Lithuania. Obtained quantitative results the experts - professionals who, due to their professional and personal experience have presented to expertise and best information about the problem under investigation. They are: a head of Kelme district office of social services, the chief specialist of social services in Kelme municipality, the Child Rights Ombudsman's Office adviser, heads of social service centers in Raseiniai and Utena working with social risk families. The empirical part deals the work with social risk families, specificity in neighborhoods, inter-institutional working relationships, risk factors and the form, influencing social workers' functions and work motivation. The main empirical findings: 1. Key business support functions of the respondents identify the minor children, the risk of growing up in families in the prevention of harmful habits and information. Proper regulation of labor gives municipalities the work of clarity and lack of methodological support from the nearest source - the elders and organizers of social work in local neighborhoods - negatively affect the timeliness of risk services for families. Too large amount of families served by difficult work. 2. Work-related risk often leads to insecure employment and high emotional stress, lack of provision of official transport, conflicts between employees and customers, clients. The study shows that these factors may adversely affect the safety of workers, their mental health, work motivation, the work efficiency and quality. 3. In assessing the paper work of the social partners, it appeared that the best contacts with the police, Child Rights Ombudsman's Office, social pedagogues. Lean weak links with communities complicates the identification of social risk families and the timely delivery of services.
