The aim of the paper is to explore electronic public procurement system development opportunities and trends in the formulation of electronic public procurement model of development and prospects in Lithuania. The analysis of Lithuanian Republic laws, strategic plans, EU directives has been performed, furthermore the analysis and organization of Lithuanian and foreign authors scientific publications, research materials analysis, organization, and in a contracting, suppliers, representatives of the Public Procurement Office have been performed, also the Central Project Management Agency and the JSC “Konsultus” staff in preparation for electronic procurement media research. There were identified electronic public procurement opportunities and challenges in implementation, the development perspectives were presented. The development of electronic public procurement opportunities insight has been prepared, also established the model of electronic public procurement development, furthermore an impact of the model assessment has been performed. It is confirmed by the authors formulated hypothesis that the members of electronic public procurement system are not sufficiently ready to carry out Electronic Public Procurement in Lithuania. |
