Special purpose leaves – one of leaves types in the labour law. These special purpose leaves are given sprung in the law, collective agreement or labour contract for provided purpose or circumstance. In the nation volatiled public relationship did not round and regulation of the special purpose leaves institution. Changes and additions are observed comparising obtained the Law on leaves and a new Labour code provisions. Three new categories of special purpose leaves started up paternity leave, sabbatical leave, leave for performance of official or public duties. The employer must give special purpose leaves to employee paying attention to the Labour Code indicated circumstances. Different subjects pay depends on categories of special purpose leaves. In this work the concept of special purpose leaves is analysing the categories of special purpose leaves and their payment are presentment the rule of law are comparing Lithuanian and foreign states. Labour code, Law on public service, Law on sickness and maternity social insurance and other regulate the order of leaves allotment, conditions, term and payment questions. |
