Abstract [eng] Legal base enforcing freedom of the national and international associations is systemized and compared in this thesis. The definition and conception of freedom of associations is defined herein, moreover, the rights that constitute multiple freedoms of associations are defined and described. The topic of employees’ trade unions, the institute of employers’ representatives is analyzed. Apart from the regulation of the right to the meetings and demonstrations, guaranties to the representatives of the individuals as well as their right to join federations and confederations are specified herein. Impact of freedom of associations on the collective negotiations, institute of the social partnership and a possibility of the strike are highlighted. The system of the organizations supervising the appropriate application of freedom of associations in the state level is shortly reviewed. European Court of Human Rights, European Committee of Social Rights and Committee on Freedom of Associations are introduced and their practice is given a lot of attention in the current thesis. Finally, the relative nature of freedom of association as well as peculiarities of its realization in the state service, police and the armed forces are emphasized.
