Abstract [eng] |
The theoretical conception of school nonattendance, its reasons, and the appliance of living skills programme to the students who don’t attend school are analyzed in this essay. It was hypothesized that after applying the programme of living skills the social skills of those who don’t attend school are better developed. A research was made with the help of a questionnaire. The purpose of the research was to evaluate the influence of the living skills programme on students’ alcohol consumption. The survey was carried twice-before applying the programme and after it. There has been made a statistical (descriptive) analysis of the data average according to Anova criterion. 11 students with bad school attendance took part in the survey. The empirical part of the essay analyses the interaction of those with bad attendance with their contemporaries and teachers as well as the peculiarities of the relations in their families, psychological state at school, and the reasons of the unwillingness to study. The data is compared in the context of the living skills programme. The main findings: 1.The research results showed that students’ social skill to know how to refuse has changed. Before programme appliance the consumption of alcohol was a relevant problem. Friends’ influence was the main factor. After programme appliance the number of students who tolerate alcohol decreased. 2.The appliance of living skills programme decreased the feeling of shame, fare and compunction connected with school, while the feeling of delight increased. 3.While applying the living skills programme the expression of students’ reaction to sneering decreased too. That means that a social skill not to react to provocative situations has changed too. 4.The impact on students’ social skills was assigned while applying the programme. The means of pedagogical influence had a positive impact on students’ social skills to evaluate the challenges which they experience at school. 5.The research hypothesis that after applying the living skills programme students’ social skills will become more developed confirmed. |
