Abstract [eng] In theoretical part of this work various Lithuania‘s and foreign authors‘ scientific literature‘s sources were analyzed, also pre-vocational training specifics of student‘s who have special educational needs were examined, pre-vocational training specific‘s development in historical context, experience of schools in foreign countries. Also, it was analyzed if children and their parents receive enough information about professional world, if purposeful and systematic pre-vocational education is being implemented. Whether parents, children and teachers assess the quality of prie-vocational education equally. In theoretical part there are also examined puppils‘ attitudes towards perspectives of professional life, pre-vocational education and measures assessed, as well as harmony of methods and forms. Contents of pre-vocational education and qualitative assessment are revealed in that part too. Hypothesis of the author of the work, that pre-vocational education of students with special educational needs does not have explicit aims in secondary school and is not systematic, have been confirmed. Pre-vocational educations‘ situation of children with special educational needs have been revealed and the opportunities of situations‘ improvement have been envisaged (pre-vocational education model for children with special educational needs have been prepared, which is a recomendatory in nature) using method of questionnaire. 100 of 7-10 th grade students, who are attending a secondary school were questioned, as well as 100 parents and 50 students‘ teachers while doing this research. It was determined that half of the students and their parents are satisfied with the quality of pre-vocational education. However, the other half of the respondents believe that school does not do everything it can to achieve a higher quality of pre-vocational education. Only a quarter of pupils know what profession they would like to choose. Pupils lack of information about the paths of chosing a profession, suitability for their chosen profession, further education and study options, information about further education institutions, requirements for the profession, situation in the labor market and it‘s demands. Although school administration devotes it‘s attention and resources to students‘ with special educational needs education, the school lacks of cooperation with further education institutions, potential employers, labor exchange. special educational needs, pre-vocational education, Professional information, orientation, consulting.
