The aim of this Master’s work is to investigate the possibilities of cooperation between private and public sector in Radviliskis district municipality. Due to this aim, according the opinion of Lithuanian and foreign scientists and opinions of practices, the practical and theoretical cooperation problems between public (including municipalities) and private sectors were identified and formulated. Also, the experience between public and private cooperation development projects in foreign countries was surveyed. The complex investigation (analysis of documents and experts’ interview) helped to evaluate the prospects and opportunities of cooperation enlargement between Radviliskis district municipality and business sector. The scientific research hypothesis formulated at the beginning was proved. The main problem for more active cooperation between Radviliskis district municipality and business sector is not sufficient reglamentation of such interaction in government documents. The encounted problem doesn’t allow to fulfill the projects of these two sectors. Other obstacles which could be mentioned are-the lack of methodological information, consultation help, the lack of knowledge about good and bad experience in fulfilling projects, not sufficient bank financing, the politicians’ stereotypical way of thinking, public opposition and the absence of demand in such kind of projects. |
