In today's world, the most developed countries take care of the information, knowledge and learning society by the quality of development, and priority attention is given to education, in particular – co-educational school, which should ensure „equal to start\" capabilities for all learner citizens (Bagdonas, 2002; Išoraitė, 2005). That is why, increasing education in general and secondary school quality issues – there is the problem of performance measurement. If in a traditional education society this evaluation was limited by the sphere of education administrators, now more and more emphasis is given on self-assessment (Bagdonas, 2002) (internal audit). Object of the research – internal operating quality assurance system in general schools of Akmene district. Purpose of the research – to provide the improvement guidelines having evaluated the internal operating quality of the „X“ and „Y“ comprehensive high schools of Akmene district. |
