Abstract [eng] The topic of the master‘s thesis is Aspect of Internationalization of Cultural and Ethnic Event‘s Management. This topic is very important nowadays because Lithuanian Culture experienced many periods of development and changes during the time of its existence before and after joining the EU. The market of cultural events faces processes of globalization, internationalization and rising competition. Today lack of united management of cultural events can be observed, especially in the field of classical art. The aim of the master‘s thesis is to analyze and compare aspects of cultural and ethnic event management based on the cases of Lithuania and other foreign countries (the Netherlands, Belgium) and to justify the importance of international event management. The first part provides theoretical accents (aspects) of cultural and art management. The analysis of the event management concept is based on the theoretical sources. The second part presents the analysis of the survey and interviews with Lithuanian, Dutch and Belgian experts and cultural event organizers, as well as questionnaire of cultural event‘s consumers. The research has shown that successful management of cultural events should be based on the marketing principles. The constant process of internationalization is essential in cultural event management, which leads to the improvement of Lithuanian art and culture in the country and abroad.
