In the master’s final paper was made the analysis of Lithuanian clothing and textile industry competitive ability. Seeking for the goal the concept of competitive ability was discussed, theoretical evaluation methods and indicators of competitive ability were explained and presented, and industrial competitive ability influencing factors were evaluated. There are the main indicators describing competitive ability, analyzed in the present research: surplus value, work productivity and payment, material and direct foreign investments, their alteration tendencies and comparative analysis in the Context of the European Union. The results received having made the analysis show that clothing and textile industry is concentrated to very low surplus value production therefore it faces serious competitive ability problems. The production of the sector should be directed to new, quality and personalized production, and this is possible to make only developing scientific research works in this branch and also instilling new and advanced technologies, establishing clusters. |
