The institutions of pre-school education are to cope with the following tasks: to provide the clients (pupils and their parents) with a high quality service, to compete in the educational market and to work effectively in order to stay. The strategic planning becomes especially important in the conditions of a constant vicissitude, as it helps to follow a long-term direction of organization activity while regarding the demands of the environment; the institution analyzes the present situation and plans the direction of the further activity, it foresees the final, long-term tasks. The object of the research – the effectiveness of parents’, workers’ and social partners’ participation in the strategic planning of the pre-school educational institution. The aim of the research – to investigate the effectiveness of pupils parents’, workers’ and social partners’ participation of the pre-school educational institution while preparing the strategic plan of this institution. In order to understand the experience of parents’, workers’ and social partners’ participation in the strategic planning of the pre-school educational institution, we have analyzed the applied experts’ survey. 132 respondents took part in the research. The theoretical aspects of the parents’, workers’ and social partners’ participation in the strategic planning are discussed in this Thesis. The analysis of the scientific literature has shown that the participation of the institution community and social partners in the strategic planning of the pre-school educational institution is becoming a serious problem. The results of the experts’ survey have shown that only a part of pedagogical workers and social partners take part in the strategic planning process of the pre-school educational institution. Meanwhile, pupils’ parents and personnel are not included into the process of the strategic planning preparation in the pre-school educational institution as there is a lack of directors’ initiative, information and a necessary competence of strategic planning. According to all respondents’ (directors’, workers’, parents’ and social partners’) opinion parents’, workers’ and social partners’ participation in the strategic planning process is necessary in order to improve the effectiveness of the strategic planning in the pre-school educational institution.
