Abstract [eng] Unemployment takes a significant place among many economic, social-psychological problems. Unemployment which reduces income, changing person’s attitudes and daily routine, increasing psychological tension and distrust of the future, aggravates everyday life for many people, reduces their social and economic activity. Recent changes in labour market made many managers to give thought to the fact that for the successful business development in Lithuania it is not anymore sufficient just to occupy a solid share of the product market, to purchase the most up-to-date technological production equipment or to sign long-term cooperation contracts with customers. As a matter of fact, the lack of suitable employees not only may have impact on the quality of production made or services provided, but even to terminate business development planned. Therefore, some attention in this paper is also paid to the analysis of employers, assisting employees to integrate into labour market. To achieve the goal of the work and used all kinds of methods: the analysis of scientific literature, the analysis of economic and statistic figures, logical and comparatives analysis. Questioning analysis was done by questioning hundred men and women from 20 to 60 years of age. The done questioning analysis allowed to look more deeper at the reasons of women unemployment. By analyzing the results of the questioning using the aspect of men and women possibilities to rate into the work market one can presume that youngest age men and women have a chance as a possibility for faster getting or to change a profession and qualification. They can seek new means of integrating into the work market. On salving the possibilities of older men and women to integrate into the work market its important to stress that qualification or change of profession partly wont change nothing by the aspect of the work seething, while there is an attitude of the bosses to look at persons age.
