The aim of the master thesis is to analyze the situation in youth labour market of the Baltic countries. In order to estimate tendencies in changing rates of youth employment and unemployment, statistic data and theoretical forecast have been provided which indicate the factors determining possibilities for young people to become employed and problems this might cause. The paper aims at presenting the situation of youth employment in Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia while comparing it with corresponding average statistics of the Europe Union. The comparison of tendencies in changing rates of both employment and unemployment with rotational payment, education and inflation rates helps to take a wider view over the subjection of the indicated rates during a certain period. The Master’s Final Work consists of two parts. The theoretic part contains data on importance of labour market, its structure and labour resources as well as determining factors and tendencies of the market in question. The empiric part of the work is dedicated to the research of dynamics in youth labour market of the Baltic countries estimating the key factors determining the rate of employment and unemployment and subjection as well as importance of those two objects; this part also provides tendencies in youth employment of the Baltic countries. The empirical part of the work results in presenting the model of employment increase which might be adjusted throughout the Baltic countries. |
