Economic diplomacy is very important for all countries, but crucial for small states. role in. This study focuses on analyzing the economic diplomacy of Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia through an institutional point of view. The aim of this research is to compare the economic diplomacy institutions of Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia and analyze their functions. The research question of this study is: What are the economic diplomacy institutions of the Baltic states, and what functions do they perform? The theoretical foundation chosen for this study is of the study the Rational choice institutionalism. For this study comparative analysis was used as methodology, which allows for a thorough examination of institutions and their functions. Rational choice institutionalism serves as the theoretical framework. It posits institutions are created as solutions for common public issues. Institution has structure and procedures, which are studied in this paper. By using comparative analysis institutional structures and procedures were compared among Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia. |
