Abstract [eng] According to Lithuanian data, young people experience a distressed state from childhood, which leads to self-harm among young people (according to data from 2019-2022, four 10-year-old cases of people who tried to commit suicide but were taken to the hospital and it is noticeable that the cases only increase with age until the age of 18, when the number of cases decreases significantly) and suicide attempts (the youngest person who committed suicide from 2010 to 2023 was 9 years old (2011), however, suicides of young people, which usually occur from the age of 12, only increase with age). It is noticeable that the number of suicides among young people is not decreasing like the general population of Lithuania, but it is in leaps and bounds - there are more in one year, and less in the next, and then increase and decrease again. Also, the most frequently discussed topics presented by the annual emotional support lines for young people - Children and Youth Lines name suicide and self-harm as one of the most common. In the annual Children's (emotional support) line of the 2022 report notes that conversations about self-harm and suicide have increased significantly since COVID-19. Suicide is the number one preventable cause of death among young people. It is also observed that the onset of bad habits in young people is from the age of 9, which can lead to inappropriate lifestyle habits and coping mechanisms in the future, considering that alcohol consumption opens the "gate" for the start of other psychoactive drugs. Although the phenomenon of suicides is complex and is caused by both internal and external factors. External factors with territorial distribution were reviewed in this work, and 15 open data sets were used for this purpose. They are used separately to analyse the factors and their distribution, but also to make connections between them and to form possible assumptions, because suicide prevention refers to the cooperation of different fields, which is reviewed by making connections and assumptions about the effect of factors on self-harm and suicide in young people. Also, in order to present the results of the research, to familiarize the public with the factors and their dissemination, as well as to encourage the analysis of the factors among themselves, publicly available virtual stands were created, which provide information about the youth, external factors affecting the youth and opportunities for help. This set of virtual billboards also provides young people with an opportunity to express their emotional state, which would allow decision-makers to take more precise and coordinated solutions to reduce young people's poor well-being.
