SUMMARY The master's thesis discusses the possibilities of applying the Emotional Imitation Method (EIM) in music lessons of primary classes in general education schools. What forms of EIM can be used in primary school music lessons? How do music teachers perceive the benefits of EIM in music lessons? The object of the study is the use of the Emotional Simulation Method in primary school music lessons. The aim of the study is to investigate teachers' attitudes towards the use of Emotional Imitation in primary school music lessons. The objectives of the study are: 1) to analyse the concept of the emotional imitation method; 2) to reveal the possibilities of applying the emotional imitation method in the content of primary music education; 3) to discuss the activities of the music lesson in the context of the EIM; 4) to investigate the teachers' attitudes towards the possibility of applying the emotional imitation method in primary music lessons. The analysis of the scientific literature and the empirical (quantitative) study led to the following conclusions: 1. The Emotional Imitation Method (EIM) ensures successful music education, more effectively develops students' musicality, self-expression, self-development, increases students' interest in music, cultural and artistic heritage of the society, and allows to present the traditional content of education in a new way. The Emotional Imitation Method (EIM) reveals the possibilities of developing students' creativity, forming emotional expressiveness, understanding the personal significance and benefits of the art of music (and the subject), raising the authority of the music teacher, and reducing discipline problems in the lesson. The method allows integration with other arts. 3. The Emotional Imitation Method (EIM) can be used effectively in all areas of classroom music activities: music listening, vocal exercises, solfege, singing, rhythmic and instrumental music making. 4. The empirical study showed that educators have a positive attitude towards EIM as a means of achieving unity between the rational and the emotional. It is a versatile, necessary and effective method that enables the development of individual and group creativity of pupils of different ages, and helps pupils to experience the joy of making music. Teachers believe that the EIM method is suitable for use in all music activities and undoubtedly helps students to better absorb the material, fosters creativity, self-development, musicality and self-expression.
