Abstract [eng] |
Master’s thesis formulates a problem regarding salary differentiation. Various analyzed and systemized scientific readings by Lithuanian and foreign authors concerning salary, types of salary differentiation as well as factors thereof have been presented. Empirical part of the thesis analyses Lithuanian salary in the year 2011-2012 and differentiation thereof from the regional, branch, professional and demographical aspect. Dynamics of differentiation factors from the international and national regional aspect is examined: company profit, gross domestic product, direct foreign investments, state expenses, unemployment rate and inflation. Opportunities for reduction in regional differentiation from the aspect of labour productivity are presented. The hypothesis proposed by the author of the thesis has been partially proved suggesting that despite uneven variation in salary in the European Union, the state of the regions from the aspect of salaries among the respective clusters therefore remains stable both on the international (EU countries) and national (Lithuanian counties) level. |
