Abstract [eng] Subject relevance. According to ISO 9001 requirements, the system of quality management is considered to be the first step towards the implementation of Overall Quality Management Principles. Overall quality management is a management philosophy that constantly improves the organization through its methods in order to increase the satisfaction of customer needs, and to improve the quality of goods and services. Research object – Quality management of Siauliai Football Academy. Research goal – To evaluate the features of quality management standard ISO 9001 principles in Siauliai Football Academy. Research tasks: 1. To analyse the concept and activity principles of informal education. 2. To provide the standards and principles of ISO 9001 quality management family. 3. After summarizing the research results, to analyse and evaluate the system of quality management in Siauliai football academy and to reveal its weak sides by providing suggestions for improvement. Scientific hypothesis: Quality management in Siauliai football academy does not meet the ISO 9001 standard. Research sample: the entirety of the research comprises of the personnel in Siauliai football academy. Research sample consists of 15 academy coaches and 6 employees of the administration. In order to figure out the opinion of employees, standardized written questionnaire has been selected as the main research instrument, although the research instrument selected to evaluate the opinion of the highest executives was an interview. Research results: After completing the research it has been determined that the features of the principles of leadership, process attitude, systemic attitude towards management, and factbased decision making are very strong in Siauliai football academy. Meanwhile, the principle of orientation to client is barely functioning: both the coaches and administration employees agree that the organization pays little attention to meet the needs of children and coaches. The principles of constant improvement and mutually beneficial relations with partners require changes. It has become clear during the interviews that the director of the Academy positively views the activities of the organization and the processes taking place in it. But the leader tends to have more positive answers than coaches or administration employees.
