Abstract [eng] |
The profession selection is a complicated task in the modern, constantly changing labour market. Constant changes have been observed within the world of professions with some professions appearing and the other – disappearing, some professions – modifying and the new ones appearing. Due to the variety of alternatives for learning and career choices the level of social risk is constantly growing, because much youth is unable to find the balance between own expectations (objectives) and dynamics of possibilities existing in the society. This is evidenced by irrational choice of prospectless professions and study programmes, unemployment, emigration, unqualified work for people with higher education and etc. (Kučinskienė, 2003, p.7). |
