Abstract [eng] Pre-school education in our country ensures quality of education, helps to avoid social exclusion and facilitate optimum conditions for every child to acquire and develop personal competencies. Lithuania belongs to countries that do not have an official national pre-school programs also children's educational achievement and progress evaluation is not regulated by law. The research focused on preschool children's education achievements assessment improvement in pre-school institutions: managerial aspect. Paper aim is to assess the pre-school age children for assessment improvement in pre -school institutions from managerial point of view. Chosen methods to implement the aim: document analysis, questionnaire pre-school pedagogues survey questionnaire data with qualitative and quantitative statistical analysis. Study included 152 pre-school teachers. The results of study showed that for pre-school teachers main vulnerabilities, needed to improve, in preschool-age children for assessments process are insufficiently developed cooperation of parents and teachers, lack of parental involvement in joint activities, lack of training for pre-school teachers, not regulated by law description of children's educational achievements assessment improvement. Cause number of children in groups is larger than allowed by law, pre-school teachers are unable to perform quality of preschool-age children educational achievement and progress evaluation - workload is too high, the quality of the educational process is impossible. The quality of preschool children's education achievements assessment improvement depends on the cooperation of all pre-school teachers and parents and objectively conducted assessment of children's educational achievements, that confirmed the hypothesis of the study.
