Abstract [eng] Relevance. The more an individual knows himself, the more he is able to receive and accept the relevant information about himself and his profession, as a result, adolescent could make rational decisions. Knowing yourself student can express themselves and realize their personal power. Professional choice - an important aspect of self-determination of personality, which is linked to understand yourself and your professional vocation (Augiene, 2009). Artistic activity is characterized by the need for personal fulfillment and professional requirements for activities to foster self-help and new challenges. It is important to educate not only individual artistic culture, but also to promote professional maturity (Kievisas, 2007). Object. Adolescent education for career during informal arts education. Objective. To figure out the challenges and opportunities for adolescent education for career durinf informal arts education. The methods: Theoretical: pedagogical, psychological and scientific literature analysis. Empirical: a survey (students and teachers) with the aim to explore the possibilities for career during informal arts education. Statistical: the statistical analysis of the questionnaire data, the survey data grouping, summarizing, comparing, graphical representation of data using Microsoft Office Excel (2007) computer program. Survey sample and organization. The study was conducted in 2013 years, the study involved 150 students and 32 teachers. Conclusions: informal arts education encourages the active citizenship, personal development, entrepreneurship, it motivates and helps young people to deal with integration into the labor market problems. The surveyed students consider teachers provided information on occupations is useful as adolescent get more knowledge about the least popular professions. Teachers participating in the study believe that the provision of information about occupations is unambiguously beneficial.
