In the Master‘s Thesis, there is considered a problem – human spiritual strength and the importance of his/her inner life. In the contemporary postmodern society, the most attention is paid to external, tangible matters. However in my work, I talk about human changes facing severe experiences and the influence thereof on changing thinking, the understanding of the value of life and search for self-identity. Digital photography as well as various computer programs are used to create this collection. Based on gathered visual material (photos), three series of works were created – “... AD ASTRA” multilayered oil paintings technique on canvas. Creating the collection of paintings digital photographs were used , which, having processed them with software, became photographs- sketches. On the basis of such sketches the cycle of three works “...AD ASTRA” was created using the multilayer oil painting technique on 260x170 cm canvases. |
