Managing cultural processes in local self government is analyzed in the master work choosing the municipality of Akmene district as the field of study. The aim of study – is to examine the managing cultural processes in municipality of Akmene district and to name possible areas of improvement in managing cultural processes. Work analysis of scientific sources showed that managing cultural processes is not always implemented fullfilling all aims and tasks. Managing cultural processes depends on many factors of cultural management policy in country: economical situation in country, separate districts and so on. That is why it is seeking to explore managing cultural processes, cultural policy implementation in local self government level. Relevance, novelty and choice of this theme is because no research of managing cultural processes in municipality of Akmene district was done. Choice of theme shows the need to analyze existing situation of managing cultural processes, to determine most problematic areas of cultural sector, to describe municipality and other institutions that implement and form managing cultural processes. This is the reason why this work is seeking to give conceptual recommendations for improving managing cultural processes. Direction of managing cultural processes is very important because in today’s society culture becomes important as economic factor creating attractive environment for capital investments and as social prevention tool. Managing cultural processes, aims and perspectives also the good experience of managing cultural processes in Lithuania and other EU countries are analyzed in this work. Legal documents were examined to find out how they are implemented in the municipality of Akmene distrint. Empirical study showed the situation of managing cultural processes in municipality of Akmene district which became obvious has strong and problematic areas at the same time. During the study the aim was not only to analize the managing cultural processes in municipality of Akmene district but also to suggest and name the possible areas of improvement. In the final part, conclusions and areas of improvement are given which lets managing cultural processes to be continuous and improved. |
