Abstract [eng] The object of this work - the promotion of women entrepreneurship in Lithuania. The aim of this work: to assess Lithuanian women's participation in business opportunities, to take measures for their entrepreneurship. Women and men equal opportunities and gender equality is not a fully realized in Lithuania and in many other countries. There is still a very large gap between men's and women's wages. Up to these days exist stereotypical attitude to the role of women in the family. Because of this it is more difficult to integrate women into the labor market. Society is little informed of gender equality and access issues, and others. The main reason - the lack of effective mechanisms to ensure effective implementation of gender equality policy. According to sociologists, in Lithuania there is age discrimination and because of that for women, particularly older, is much more difficult to find even a minimum-paid job. Therefore, one way to reduce unemployment, may be starting their own business. In this case, business becomes as a tool to achieve the economic independence for women. Women entrepreneurship development has a special meaning for men and women unequal opportunities in the labor market. Entrepreneurship education includes - 1) economic knowledge (concepts, economic systems, economic index, the international market, the state role in the economy), 2) financial literacy (financial services, personal financial management), 3) development of personal qualities (leadership, personal management); 4) social skills (communication skills, teamwork, communication, ethics, conflict management), 5) information and communication skills; 6) career planning (situation analysis; skills, necessary for career development, education). The work consists of four parts, the working volume is 86 pages. Is presented 28 paintings and 12 tables, 2 affixes, is used 56 literature sources and 45 internet search sources.
