Abstract [eng] The object of research - innovation and competitiveness in Companies Providing SPA Services. The study was conducted in Companies Providing SPA Services of Vilnius in February and March in 2010. Were interviewed 260 respondents (200 SPA services users and 60 SPA services workers). The study enabled the Relationship between Innovation and Competitiveness in Companies Providing SPA Services. It was found that Companies Providing SPA Services do not comply with the customer's needs. Many of them would prefer that these companies are providing beauty consultations, improved customer registration system. Thus, the second test the hypothesis that Companies Providing SPA Services do not meet all customers' needs have been met only partially. The workers often than clients agreed that the Companies Providing SPA Services are needed innovations and saw their importance. Clients and workers believes that these companies needs the technological and manufacturing innovation. Customers increasingly focused the product innovacions, workers - management innovations. So the first test the hypothesis that Companies Providing SPA Services need product innovation, has proved only partially. It was found that workers often than clients agreed that the SPA services providing institution's competitiveness shows the ability to meet the clients needs. The third study hypothesis was that the competitive of SPA services ensures the ability to meet clients' needs have been met in part. Work consists of an introduction, 3 parts, conclusions and recommendations. The main substance is described in 79 pages, including 11 tables and 35 images, 3 enclosures.
