This masters thesis topic: "Information and Communication Technologies in Lithuania's information and communication science researchers employed in the informal science communication: a study. Worldwide interest in science communication arised in the beginning of the sixties. It was started to take interest in how scientists communicate, what communication channels is used for the exchange of knowledge. During that period, was a presented one of the two models of science communication, where science communication represent the process. The last decades of the twentieth century occurred in the technological revolution had an impact on education and communication process, which form a relatively changed. This work will concentrate on non-formal education on communication as a major part of scientific knowledge, scientists reached the other informal communication channels, even well before the publication appears. In particular, it shows the importance of the informal communication of science and implies the need for a deeper understanding of this process. Foreign countries, research shows that informal science communication was also affected by information technology and developments. The above changes led to an even greater interest in informal science and communication technologies have an impact on her, which is important even today. This is the first attempt to analyze the structure of informal communication Lithuania communication and information sciences in the context of the impact of information technology.
