Abstract [eng] In the Master’s thesis theoretical and practical problems of individual labour disputes arising very often are analysed. The concept of individual labour disputes based on legal acts and personal opinions of many various authors is introduced, as well as the characteristics of such disputes and procedural peculiarities of their analysis. The reasons for individual labour disputes arising are investigated and analysed. The research on the functions of the institutions – Labour Disputes Commissions and courts – dealing with individual labour disputes is presented, as well as the research of procedures of labour disputes examination and the course of making decisions and appeals. There are also analysed the categories of labour disputes, being considered in the courts, and the characteristics of their consideration. Theoretical attitudes are illustrated by the examples of case law and the issues of the Supreme Court Senate of the Republic of Lithuania, which usually arise in the course of settling individual labour disputes. A statistical analysis of individual labour disputes being considered in the Courts of first instance of the Republic of Lithuania was carried out and the description of the cases having been analysed was introduced. The perspectives of regulating the contents of individual labour disputes consideration, as well as the elaboration tendencies of practical decisions of such disputes were reviewed.
