SUMMARY This Master‘s Thesis deals with logistics services and Third Party logistics partners, these services organization and performance. The aim of this Master Thesis is to analyse logistics services, Third Party logistics management and performance in Lithuania, to do the research in order to find out whether the Third Party logistics is sufficiently using or using at all in Lithuania. The tasks of this paper are as follows: to analyse the scientific literature on logistics services, also to identify Third Party logistics planning rules, to analyze the biggest Third Party logistics companies in Lithuania, to explain the research process and methods, to do the research, identifying whether the Third Party logistics sufficiently are using. and with reference to the literature analysed and the results received to present conclusions and recommendations. This Master‘s Thesis consists of introduction, theoretical part, practical part, research part, conclusions and suggestions. The theoretical parts deals with the analysis of logistics and 3PL logistics services. The practical part includes the analyzing the biggest 3PL providers in Lithuania. The research part is important to analyze the using of Third Party logistics in Lithuania. Conclusions confirm the hypothesis, i.e., The Third Party logistics is not popular in Lithuania. |
