Abstract [eng] Autism is a disorder of the person when someone has an environmental problems including human ignorance, pathological insularity of their emotional, spiritual world. The aim of this master study is to describe the characteristics of autism spectrum disorders presented in the literature. As the results of the research shows - the socialization of autistic teens is a is a long and arduous process. The study confirms that autistic teens have difficulties involving to a public life. The first part deals with the phenomenon of autistic syndrome: in this part the analysis of autism spectrum disorder, also its causes and identification techniques is being analyzed. The second part analyzes socialization of autistic teens, socialization role a person's life is being touched, the socialization of autistic teens and integration in society , the socialization problems of teens is being analyzed. Third part of the study - designed to determine the socialization aspects of the autistic teens in the mainstream and special schools of Lithuanian cities - Vilnius, Kaunas and Siauliai. The study found that teens communication features of teens are strange: we can see that these individuals are more likely to be occupied with one activity, they recognize themselves that they are unable to communicate, the social situations are difficult for them. Autistic people prefer to interact with objects but not with people-they find difficult to maintain a conversation. The study consists of a summary, the three parts, the findings . The work includes three components, 15 pictures, 6 tables.
