Abstract [eng] PROBIOTICS QUALITY RESEARCHES Probiotics are alive, akin and useful for human organism microorganisms which, when used in adequate amounts, have a positive effect on human health. Furthermore, the digestion is improved, the immune system is strengthened, and the balance of microbes in the intestine is renewed when using probiotics. The consumption of probiotics in medicine and veterinary is becoming more and more popular so the size of its trade is also increasing. This is the reason why very big attention is given to researches of probiotics in our days. Huge sums of money are allocated to their production and technology so it is very important for probiotics to suit all requirements. Qualitative and quantitative parameters of commercial probiotics (Linex, Bifolac, Bifoval, Yogurt, Lactoseven and Enterol), estimating the resistance of bacterial culture to antibiotics and gastric acids and evaluating the impact of probiotical cultures on Candida genus mushrooms, were examined. Major problems during the research were keeping bacteria alive and inaccurate information in literature, such as inadequacy of varietal, the number of bacteria cells was indicated wrongly or not indicated at all, vague conditions of keeping. Such violations demand strict quality control in production, transportation and sales.
