Abstract [eng] In our era globalization is a natural process. Extinction of national economics, cultural, technological boundaries offers for small and medium sized enterprises new opportunities and brings great treats. However, independently on the size of enterprise, it has to have wide perspective to the business environment, in order to harmonize globalization and strategic goals and priorities of enterprise. The aim of this paper is to reveal globalization impact on small and medium sized enterprises’ strategy in case of cosmetics and perfumeries market. Theoretical studies includes the analysis of globalization and national market relationship as well as relationship between globalization and strategic planning at SME. Empirical studies evaluate Lithuanian market index of globalization , accentuate its impact of SME’s strategies and define the importance level. As a result of the empirical analysis, it was adduced few globalization and SME strategy connection areas such as national economics, direct foreign investments, income of households, transportation and logistic costs, the threat of new potential competitors, mobility of human capital, the threat of substitutes, labeling and notification system, customs system, the dynamics of wage level, accessibility of new suppliers, technologic modernization, electronic trade, fashion and international brand identity. It also was revealed that some of the relations are strong and some are not important, however, SME should always be aware of the globalization influence on the national level in order to avoid discredits and embrace opportunities. This MBA Graduation paper contains 68 pages with 4 tables and 17 pictures or schemes. For the research there were used 56 nonfiction literature and 4 information sources. Additional information was places into 8 appendixes.
